I believe in miracles, amazing coincidences and things that are just meant to be. I believe that everything happens at the right time, whether we believe it or not. I do believe in chance, and I do believe in luck, but when it boils down to it, I believe that some things are just meant to be. I know that hindsight often shows us that to be true, and whilst we are in the midst of change, we tend to think that things really aren’t going our way. Yet, if we take a little time to be quiet, still and just ride those waves, we will notice that actually we are exactly where we are meant to be.
In the past year, I’ve had the pleasure of being a mentor for an online oracle card course, run by Denise Linn. I have been reading Oracle Cards for many years now, and they are really what I love to do. They help me when I am feeling a little stuck, or need some guidance. They stop me from making mistakes and they help me to listen to my heart when my mind is over ruling it. I have two decks of cards that I use the most, and they are the Soul Coaching® Oracle Cards (by Denise) and Wisdom of the Hidden Realms (by Colette Baron-Reid). Both sets have their own unique energy, their own special meaning to me, and I know these cards intimately. They are an extension of me and my intuitive and spiritual abilities. One thing that I love to do is to give people a card during workshops, on their birthdays and at Christmas. Each card I give is usually spot on for what that person needs. This goes for the readings that I do as well, I love that the right pack of cards is used for the reading, and the messages are accurate and upliftment. It brings me joy, which ultimately brings me Fulfillment.
A friend of mine from the online course needed to complete his requirements for the course certificate, and was offering readings. I jumped at the chance, but I think that maybe because I was a mentor or maybe I was a professional (his words, not mine), I didn’t get my reading straight away. I knew that the timing would be right, and that we would connect when we were meant to. We met on Sunday. My question was simple, I had been in a funk about Spiritual work, and I wasn’t too sure what was happening, so whilst going with the flow, I thought I would find out where this flow was taking me. I let Thomas (who is totally awesome!) pull the cards (we had a whole ocean between us, so I couldn’t do it myself) and through the reading and coaching session, I told him that the thing I loved to do the most, was to give Oracle Card readings. I loved doing readings for people, and helping them with whatever they needed to hear. So though the spread that he did, it came to the card for my life purpose. He pulled out two cards, “Acceptance” and “Oracle Cards”. We laughed at how the cards were reflecting what we were talking about, and what I really wanted to do.
Sometimes, you don’t need the cards to tell you what you need to do. You have to trust yourself and go for it. What brings you joy, what fulfils you, what is stopping you from living the life that you want to?
