Inspiration from the Oracle Cards

When using the Oracle Cards… trust what comes out!

I use oracle cards often, for myself, for others, and to give messages as gifts to others too!  Here is an amazing experience that I had – which has helped me to trust what comes out the first time!

It was my mums birthday, and one of the things that I wanted to do was to give her a Soul Coaching card as part of her birthday card.

As I was shuffling the deck, asking for a card for my mum, one flew out of the pack!  I had my eyes closed at the time and didn’t think that it was the card for mum, so I just put it back (eyes still closed!) and continued to shuffle.  I was then told to stop, and as I opened my eyes, the card that had flew out of the pack was sitting at the top – as it had also turned out so that it was staring at me!

It has made me trust exactly what comes out of the Oracle cards, and from that I am able to work more freely and trust that the messages the cards are there to give!

Following Your Dreams

If you don’t do it now… when will you?

Late last year, I was having a conversation with my cousin over MSN about what how she wanted to be a holiday rep.  Through the conversation she was telling me how she wasn’t sure if it was possible or if she could leave her family.

For me, it brought up memories of when I dreamed of doing that job!  This was probably a dream from when I was 11 or 12!  I applied and got a chance to go to a group session where they explained what was going to happen, and then if I got through the first part of the day, I would then move on to a interview.  I didn’t make the interview part, despite having all the right ideas – I was not ‘loud’ enough in the group to be heard, and therefore they did not think I would be be able to work in the group situations in a holiday resort.  My dreams dashed, I decided not to pursue it any further.  I am always left wondering ‘what if’.

I met with my cousin at Christmas time, and did a Oracle reading for her.  I was just amazed at how the cards were talking of a new career, the sun and changes coming up.  I looked at her and we both knew exactly what it meant for her – and a few days later she told me how she had completed the application, and now had her interview date!

I sent lots of positive energy her way for the interview, no matter what the outcome, and I was so thrilled when she called me say that she had got the job!  She was so thilled on the phone that I was just as joyous – I’ve planned to go visit her no matter where she is! Lol!

It is important to follow our dreams, and not let one person or situation hold us back.  If you find that one door has not opened, then you may find that another will.  If you feel within your heart that you are being called to complete your dream, then go for it.  Sometimes a ‘dream’ is a way of the Universe giving you a hint on what you should be doing or going towards, but also – do you want to look back on a life time of ‘I wished’ or do you want to say ‘I did it’.

I don’t know if I will complete the dream of being a rep myself – but you never know – with the knowledge that it can happen – I may find myself doing it – just in a different way!  I certainly have a few ideas now on how that can come about :-)    I am certainly glad though that my cousin followed hers!

The Airplane Metaphor

Please put on your own oxygen mask on before helping somebody else.

When on an aeroplane, we are always told that if the emergency oxygen masks drop down, put your mask on first. If the brain is starved of oxygen, you can get confused or pass out. Then you would be unable to help yourself or your child.

How many times do we do this in our day to day life?  Look after ourselves before we help another.  When put in the context that if I do not look after my own well being – how can I then help another to achieve what they want to do?

Listen to your own Spirit – what is it saying to you?  Are you taking on too much?

The Universe likes to laugh!

I was in a bit of a mood over a really silly thing that had happened.  As I thought about it, and built this thought up – I noticed how it just exploded into lots of silly things that I would do, and how upset I was.  I was walking to work … and thats when the Universe / Spirit decided to have a laugh – I did not see the dog poop on the path!  I slid a little bit as I trod straight in it, got my balance back and just thanked myself for not falling over!

I laughed quite a bit, then I realised what I was being told (excuse the language but…) “Think shitty thoughts and you will get shit back!”

I realised that I really need to just get over myself as life is too short for me to be moody over something little!  Since my crappy moment, I have smiled and focused on all the good that is around me!
